Ridum KulshresthaAugust 29, 2023 Super impressed by Dr Gireesh’s expertise. He provided me with the correct diagnosis and consultation. This was my first trip to any dentist so far in 30 years of my life. I had heard all wrong things about other dental clinics that how sometimes they try to misdiagnose to convert you into a repeat customer. But was super happy when Dr Gireesh told me the exact procedure I needed, not exactly the expensive one which was told to me earlier. Additionally, he took time to answer all my concerns and questions. Highly recommend Molar Support. 👍🏻 Miss PriyaFebruary 18, 2023 My sister had a her dental implants in this clinic and I must say, the whole procedure was very well carried out. TREATMENT DETAILS
Dental care starts with the eruption of the first tooth itself. Several conditions that need to be addressed in children as a part of Kids Dental Treatment Jaipur are nursing bottle caries, rampant caries, and teething troubles. As a part of Preventive Kids Dental Treatment Jaipur, we provide fluoride treatment and dental sealant application at Molar Support Dental Clinic. Let us discuss some other common conditions treated at Molar Support Dental Clinic.
There are a few instances in which the eruption of permanent teeth is delayed or improper. The milk teeth play an important role in guiding their successors. The early loss of milk teeth can cause problems with the eruption and also cause crowding in the later stage.
The malaligned teeth or crooked teeth need early attention. The bone density of children is less compared with adults, so the movement of teeth is easier with dental braces or aligners. An early diagnosis is important for prompt treatment, saving you from future complications.
The tooth decay or dental cavities starts as a small spot usually. It is important to detect it early to avoid further complications. Milk teeth are more prone to tooth cavities due to dietary habits and the inability to maintain optimum oral hygiene in children. It is always suggested to supervise the kids to maintain optimum oral hygiene.
Our teeth comprise three layers, and the innermost layer is the blood vessels and nerves. A direct restoration is preferred when the dental cavity is in the first and second layers. GIC is the most common dental filling done by our chief dentist, Dr Gireesh Likhyani. It is a type of dental filling that releases fluoride. Fluoride is an essential mineral that makes the teeth resistant to decay.
When the third layer of the teeth gets involved, it causes immense pain. If left untreated, the nerves and vessels infection can spread to the surrounding tissues. Pulp therapy is the treatment done by our Molar Support Dental Clinic experts to clean the infected nerves and vessels. There are two types of pulp therapies, namely – pulpotomy and pulpectomy. The decision for which one is best suited for your child is determined by our chief dentist, Dr Gireesh Likhyani, after a careful clinical and radiological analysis of the case.
The milk teeth extractions are carefully planned after tracking the progress of its successor. The extraction is often kept as a last resort when other methods to save the tooth have failed. If the permanent tooth is not developed, space maintainers are planned after tooth extraction.
They are the devices planned in cases where the tooth extraction of milk teeth is inevitable, but the permanent teeth are not yet fully developed to erupt. The space created by the extraction of milk teeth is preserved with space maintainers until permanent teeth are ready to erupt.
Fluoride is an essential mineral that makes the tooth strong and resistant to tooth decay. It is usually indicated in children during their formative years when the growth is maximum. Kids with an increased risk of cavities are planning for fluoride treatment. Fluoride application also helps individuals living in areas with low fluoride levels. A diet rich in acidic food content can erode the enamel. The fluoride application helps prevent demineralization and promotes the remineralization of the tooth structure. The acid produced by the bacteria can damage the tooth enamel. Fluoride application can reverse the effect in its early stage. Fluoride application in eroded enamel cases also helps fight tooth sensitivity by blocking the sensations carried to the nerves and vessels.
The fluoride application is generally recommended every six months. However, the frequency can be increased in certain cases with high susceptibility to caries. The frequency can be reduced to once a year in good oral hygiene cases with no early signs of decay.
There are no dietary restrictions after the session except that you must wait half an hour before eating or drinking anything. Maintaining good oral hygiene is also suggested for better and prolonged effect of fluoride application.
The chewing surface of teeth, especially the back teeth, has deep pits and grooves that are difficult to clean with a toothbrush. Dental sealant therapy is indicated in these cases where the barrier protection offered by sealants helps prevent the bacterial accumulation. They are the thin protective coatings applied onto the chewing surface of back teeth. The main purpose of sealant therapy is to protect and shield the tooth, reducing the risk of tooth decay.
Dental sealants prevent the accumulation of food particles and bacteria in the deep pits and fissures of the teeth. It prevents the bacteria from interacting with food particles, preventing tooth decay.
Dental sealants are clear and transparent in nature, thus do not affect the aesthetics. They prevent decay by adhering to the tooth surface and forming a barrier. The process takes a few minutes to apply and is, hence, a time-efficient procedure. It is a painless procedure requiring no anesthetic injections or drilling for its application. Sealants do not dissolve in the saliva and are safe for intra-oral application.
