Ridum KulshresthaAugust 29, 2023 Super impressed by Dr Gireesh’s expertise. He provided me with the correct diagnosis and consultation. This was my first trip to any dentist so far in 30 years of my life. I had heard all wrong things about other dental clinics that how sometimes they try to misdiagnose to convert you into a repeat customer. But was super happy when Dr Gireesh told me the exact procedure I needed, not exactly the expensive one which was told to me earlier. Additionally, he took time to answer all my concerns and questions. Highly recommend Molar Support. 👍🏻 Miss PriyaFebruary 18, 2023 My sister had a her dental implants in this clinic and I must say, the whole procedure was very well carried out. TREATMENT DETAILS
Dental veneers are thin coverings made to cover the front surfaces of the teeth. There are typically two types of dental veneers: porcelain and composite. Dental veneers are bonded to the natural tooth surface to enhance their appearance. It is one of the most versatile cosmetic dental treatments done by our smile expert, Dr Gireesh Likhyani, at Molar Support Dental Clinic.
The Dental Veneers Cost in Jaipur depends on the type of dental veneers used and the number of teeth involved. The Dental Veneers Cost in Jaipur usually starts at Rs 12000.
Porcelain veneers are custom-made shells fabricated in the lab. Porcelain is a biocompatible material that is used for the fabrication. The porcelain veneer process is a two-step procedure. In the first step, the tooth is prepared to receive the material. Only the tooth’s front surface is trimmed to make space for the veneers. In the second step, the veneer fabricated in the lab is bonded to the tooth with a special cement. Compared to composite veneers, they are more durable, stain-resistant, and longer-lasting veneers.
The resin-based material is bonded to the tooth in one sitting only. There is no involvement of the lab in the fabrication of the veneer. The whole process is completed in a single sitting along the chair side by our mile expert, Dr Gireesh Likhyani, at Molar Support Dental Clinic. The composite material is directly attached to the tooth with a bonding agent and is hardened with a special blue light after giving it the desired shape and form.
Teeth discolorations are of two types – intrinsic and extrinsic. The extrinsic stains are managed effectively by teeth whitening treatment. The intrinsic stains caused by dental fluorosis, dental trauma, and intake of medicines like tetracycline can be managed with dental veneers.
Veneers are not just for the enhancement of discolored teeth. They can also modify the appearance of the teeth that are chipped off. It is an excellent way of restoring the teeth’ shape, size, and symmetry.
With age or due to certain habits like teeth grinding, the teeth are worn out over time. Dental veneers make a perfect choice when restoring the aesthetics of such teeth.
You require braces or aligner treatment for a large gap between the teeth. Dental veneers are an excellent cosmetic choice for minor gaps, eliminating the need for extensive treatment.
The process starts with the initial consultation with our chief dentist, Dr Gireesh Likhyani, at Molar Support Dental Clinic. In this step, we will clinically examine your case and formulate a customized plan. It is an important step where you can discuss all your queries regarding the outcome.
The actual treatment starts with the trimming of the concerned teeth. The trimming is important to make space for the veneer placement.
Once the teeth are prepared, impressions are made for both upper and lower teeth. The impressions are used to make models. Models are sent to the lab for veneer fabrication for the porcelain veneers.
For composite veneers, the resin material is directly applied to the tooth after trimming the tooth. We will give the desired shape and form to the composite material.
Once the porcelain veneers are ready to be fit, they are placed onto the tooth with a special adhesive. It is then cured with a blue light.
You will be recalled for the follow-up visits to monitor the progress of dental veneers.
Dental veneers are used to enhance the smile of a person. It is a purely cosmetic procedure, and dental crowns, on the other hand, restore the form and function of the teeth. Veneers only trim one surface, whereas crowns require preparation from all sides.
